Central Kitsap used a single, an error, and another single to get a run in the second.

With one out in the fourth, Sarah Sorensen singled to left and took second when the ball got by the left fielder. Celine Woo grounded to short to move Sorensen to third. When the shortstop overthrew first Sorensen scored.

With one out in the fifth, Haley Dusek doubled to right. Kelly McLaughlin drove the next pitch over the right center field fence for a home run scoring Dusek before her.

Central Kitsap used a one out walk, an infield single, a double steal, a throwing error, and a wild pitch to get two runs in the fifth.

Central Kitsap used a leadoff home run in the seventh to win the game.

Good defensive plays were made by Rachel Sorensen who raced to the line in left to catch a sinking liner for the first out in the 2nd and by Sarah Sorensen who threw the lead runner out at second on what should have been a single to right for the first out in the 4th.

Courtney Schwan started and again went the distance. She struck out seven and walked two. She suffered the loss despite giving up only one earned run.

Kelly McLaughlin singled to center with one out in the first. Alex DeStephano doubled over the left fielder’s head to move McLaughlin to third. Courtney Schwan singled to center to score McLaughlin and DeStephano. Schwan took second on the throw to the plate. Alexis Mendez courtesy ran for Schwan. Alexa Ostrander singled to center to move Mendez to third. Ostrander then stole second. Sarah Sorensen grounded out pitcher to first to score Mendez.

Rachel Sorensen was hit by a pitch to open the second inning and then stole second. Rebecca Sorensen singled to left to move her sister Rachel to third. Rebecca then stole second. Haley Dusek doubled over the left fielder’s head to score Rachel Sorensen and Rebecca Sorensen. Kelly McLaughlin singled to center to score Dusek. Alex DeStephano grounded to third to force McLaughlin at second. DeStephano then stole second. Courtney Schwan grounded out third to first to move DeStephano to third. Alexa Ostrander walked. Sarah Sorensen crushed a triple to left center to score DeStephano and Ostrander. Celine Woo doubled to right to score Sarah Sorensen.

Sarah Sorensen walked moving Ostrander to second. Celine Woo flew out to deep center to move Ostrander to third. On the first pitch to Rachel Sorensen, Sarah Sorensen stole second. When the pitch got away from the catcher, Ostrander alertly scored.

Good defensive plays were made by Alex DeStephano who back handed a ground ball and got the cleanup batter at first to end the 1st, by Sarah Sorensen who made a nice catch in right field for the first out in the 4th, and by Abby McDonald who threw a strike to Alexa Ostrander who tagged out the runner trying to steal second to end the game.

Courtney Schwan started and went the distance for the win. She struck out 9 including the side in order in the second and walked only one. She threw only 65 pitches in the one-hit shutout.

Alexa Ostrander beat out an infield single to open the second and then stole second. After an out Celine Woo tripled to left to score Ostrander. Rachel Sorensen grounded to short to score Woo. When the throw to first was wide, Sorensen was safe. Sorensen took second on a wild pitch. Alexis Mendez grounded to short. When the ball caromed off the shortstop, Sorensen took third. When the carom got by the left fielder Rachel Sorensen scored and Mendez wound up at second. After a second out Haley Dusek doubled to center to score Mendez.

With two out in the third Sarah Sorensen was safe when the first baseman dropped the throw. Sorensen took second on a passed ball. Celine Woo doubled to left center to score Sarah Sorensen. Rachel Sorensen singled to center to score Woo.

Abby McDonald singled to open the fourth. After an out Kelly McLaughlin singled to right to move McDonald to second. Rebecca Sorensen pinch hit and singled to left to score McDonald and to move McLaughlin to second. Alexa Ostrander grounded a ball through the third baseman which allowed McLaughlin to score and Sorensen to go to second. Both runners moved up on a wild pitch. Sarah Sorensen singled to right to score Rebecca Sorensen and to move Ostrander to third. Sorensen took second on a wild pitch. Celine Woo singled to right to score Ostrander and Sarah Sorensen. Kylie Ostrander pinch hit and singled to move Woo to second. Madeline Lilly pinch hit and singled to score Woo and to move Ostrander to third. Abby McDonald grounded out second to first to score Kylie Ostrander.

Good defensive plays were made by Haley Dusek who went way to her right to get a ground ball and then threw to Alex DeStephano who scooped the throw out of the dirt for the second out in the 1st and by Alexis Mendez who made a nice catch on the line in right for the first out in the 3rd.
