Stadium used a four-base error, a triple, and a sacrifice bunt to get two runs in the first.

Courtney Schwan drove the first pitch to the center field fence for a triple to lead off the second. Rachel Sorensen courtesy ran for Schwan. After an out Rachel Barcena singled to left to score Sorensen.

Stadium used a two-out infield single, a stolen base, an error on the steal to go to third, and an error on the throw to third to get a run in the third.

Alex DeStephano walked to open the fourth. Rachel Barcena sacrificed DeStephano to second. Alexa Ostrander beat out an infield single to move DeStephano to third. Ostrander then stole second and DeStephano stole home on the back end of the double steal. Ostrander took third on a wild pitch. Alexis Mendez grounded a ball through the third baseman to score Ostrander.

With two out in the seventh, Rachel Sorensen ripped the first pitch she saw into center for a triple. Kelly McLaughlin singled to left to score Sorensen.

Good defensive plays were made by Abby McDonald who threw a runner out trying to steal second for the final out in the 1st; by Alexa Ostrander who fielded a grounder and threw out Stadium’s fastest runner at first for the second out in the 6th; and by Alexa Ostrander who fielded a grounder and made a perfect feed to Haley Dusek who made a great turn and fired a strike to Alex DeStephano for a 6-4-3 double play in the 7th.

Courtney Schwan started and again went the distance. She struck out 11 (including the side in the second inning and the side again in the fifth inning) and walked no one. She retired 12 of the last 13 batters she faced. The three runs that she gave up in the win were all unearned.

Kelly McLaughlin singled to center to open the first. Sarah Sorensen laid down a perfect sacrifice bunt to move McLaughlin to second. When the pitcher threw the bunt into right, the runners wound up at third and second. After an out Courtney Schwan tripled to the fence in center to score McLaughlin and Sorensen.

Gig Harbor used two errors, a wild pitch, and an infield out to get a run in the second.

Alexa Ostrander singled to right to open the second. Rachel Sorensen sacrificed Ostrander to second. Alexis Mendez drove a shot to the fence in right center for an inside-the-park home run scoring Ostrander before her.

Gig Harbor used a triple and an infield out to get a run in the third.

Gig Harbor used two singles, a triple, another single, a wild pitch, an error, and another wild pitch to get four runs in the fourth.

Gig Harbor used a single, a walk, and three more singles to get three runs in the seventh.

Good defensive plays were made by Rachel Barcena who came in and went to her left to catch a blooper for the first out in the 1st; by Alexa Ostrander who stayed with a hard grounder and threw the batter out at first for the second out in the 1st; by Courtney Schwan who fielded a come backer, faked to first to hold the runner at third, and then threw the batter out at first for the first out in the 3rd; by Abby McDonald who dove to catch a bunt for the first out in the 4th; by Kelly McLaughlin who played a ball off the fence in right center and relayed to Alexa Ostrander who threw a strike to Rachel Barcena to nail the batter trying to stretch a double into a triple for the second out in the 7th; and by Alex DeStephano who dug a throw out of the dirt at first for the final out in the 7th.

Courtney Schwan started and again went the distance. She struck out 6 and walked only two. She gave up six earned runs in the loss.
