    Gig Harbor used a walk, two stolen bases, another walk, another stolen base, and a ground single to right to get two runs in the second.
    Alexa Ostrander grounded to the shortstop and was safe when the throw to first was high to open the fifth.  Alyssa McKiernan singled to center to move Ostrander to second.  Becca Sorensen was down 1-2 in the count but battled through an 11-pitch at bat.  She finally walked to load the bases.  Courtney Schwan was the first batter to face the relief pitcher.  Schwan walked on four pitches to score Ostrander.  After an out Rachel Barcena walked on a 9-pitch at bat to score McKiernan.
    Alexa Ostrander set the table again by walking to open the sixth.  Alyssa McKiernan grounded to short to force Ostrander at second.  McKiernan then stole second.  Becca Sorensen worked the count to 2-2, fouled off two more pitches, then singled to center to score McKiernan.
    Courtney Schwan started and pitched the first four innings.  She struck out three.  Rachel Barcena pitched the last three innings to get the win.  She struck out five.
    Good defensive plays were made by Celine Woo who charged a sacrifice bunt and threw to Becca Sorensen covering first for the first out in the 1st; by Rachel Sorensen who fielded a single to right, hit (the cut off) Alex DeStephano who relayed (too late to get the second runner scoring from second) to Abby McDonald who then fired a strike to Alexa Ostrander who tagged the batter out (attempting to take second) for the first out in the 2nd; by Courtney Schwan who raced almost into foul territory to catch a sinking pop up for the second out in the 2nd; by Becca Sorensen who caught a line drive for the first out in the 3rd; by Alex DeStephano who fielded a bunt and fed to Becca Sorensen covering first to end the 4th; by Becca Sorensen who charged a sinking line drive and caught it off her shoe tops for the second out in the 5th; by Abby McDonald who held on to a foul-tip third strike to end the 6th; and by Celine Woo who charged almost to the fence to catch a pop foul for the first out in the 7th.
    This win gives the Lions the third seed in the Narrows League.  The Lions will play Central Kitsap on Thursday in the Sub District Tournament.
