      Gig Harbor used a double, a strike out, an infield out, and an error to get a run in the second.
      Kelly McLaughlin dropped a single down the left field line to open the fourth.  Alexa Ostrander walked to move McLaughlin to second.  Haley Dusek walked to load the bases.  Courtney Schwan grounded out third to first to score McLaughlin.
      Sarah Sorensen walked on a full count with one out in the sixth.  Sarah took second on a wild pitch.  After a second out Becca Sorensen grounded to short.  When the shortstop threw the ball away at first, Sarah Sorensen scored.
      Kelly McLaughlin singled infield to open the seventh.  Alexa Ostrander walked to move McLaughlin to second.  Haley Dusek battled back from a 1-2 count and walked to load the bases.  Courtney Schwan hit a sacrifice fly to right to score McLaughlin.
      Good defensive plays were made by Kelly McLaughlin who caught a long fly ball to center for the second out in the 4th; by Abby McDonald who took charge on a bunt up the first base line and threw the batter out to end the 4th; by Alexa Ostrander who short hopped a grounder to short and threw the batter out to end the 5th; by Abby McDonald who pounced on a bunt on the third base line and threw the batter out for the second out in the 6th; and by Alexa Ostrander who with a runner on first fielded a grounder and threw to Haley Dusek covering second to end the game.
      Courtney Schwan started and again went the distance for the win.  She struck out 10 including the side in order in the first.  She gave up only 4 hits.  She had 4 assists herself in fielding her position.  The one run she gave up was unearned.

      Kelly McLaughlin singled to center to open the game.  Alexa Ostrander put down a nice sacrifice bunt to move McLaughlin to second.  Haley Dusek lined a single to center to score McLaughlin.  Alex DeStephano singled to right to move Dusek to second.  Sarah Sorensen grounded out second to first to move the runners to third and second.  Dusek then scored on a wild pitch.

      Olympia used a two-out walk and an error to get a run in the first.

      Becca Sorensen singled to left to open the second and took second on a wild pitch.  After falling behind 1-2, Rachel Sorensen worked the pitcher for a walk.  Celine Woo’s bunt forced Becca Sorensen at third but moved Rachel Sorensen to second.  Kelly McLaughlin singled to center to load the bases.  Alexa Ostrander grounded to the third baseman who forced Rachel Sorensen at home.  Haley Dusek grounded to second.  When the second baseman (this would later prove to be their only chance to get Dusek out) fumbled the ball, Woo scored.

      Olympia used a walk, two ground outs, and an error to get a run in the second.

      With two out in the fourth, Alexa Ostrander singled to center.  Haley Dusek followed with a single to left center to move Ostrander to second.  Alex DeStephano ripped a double to right center to score Ostrander and Dusek.

      Olympia used a single, a walk, a double, a throw home, and an infield out to get three runs in the fifth.

      Haley Dusek crushed a 2-2 pitch way over the center fielder’s head for a leadoff inside the park home run in the sixth.

      Good defensive plays were made by Celine Woo who backhanded a grounder to third and threw the batter out for the first out in the 2nd; by Alex DeStephano who charged a bunt and threw to Haley Dusek who covered first for the first out in the 3rd; by Rachel Barcena who caught a pop up bunt for the second out in the 4th; by Abby McDonald who dug a pitch out of the dirt to prevent the runners from moving to third and second in the 5th; by Celine Woo who caught a pop up at the fence for the first out in the 5th; and by Alexa Ostrander who fielded a grounder to short and threw the batter out to end the game.

      Rachel Barcena started and went the distance for the win.  She struck out 8 and gave up only three hits.  Only two of the runs against her were earned.  After Olympia tied the game in the fifth, she retired the next 8 batters in a row.
