Central Kitsap used a walk, a stolen base, and two ground outs to get a run in the first.

Kelly McLaughlin hit a grounder that the third baseman could not handle to open the first.  Alexa Ostrander put down a perfect sacrifice bunt to move McLaughlin to second.  When the first baseman threw the bunt away at first, McLaughlin took third and Ostrander was safe at first.  Ostrander then stole second.  Haley Dusek walked to load the bases.  Courtney Schwan hit a sacrifice fly to right to score McLaughlin and to move Ostrander to third.  Dusek then stole second.  Alex DeStephano singled to left to score Ostrander and Dusek.

Alex DeStephano singled to right center with two out in the third.  Rachel Barcena was hit by a pitch to move DeStephano to second.  Rachel Sorensen grounded a single to right to score DeStephano.

Alexis Mendez walked to open the fourth.  After an out Alexa Ostrander singled to center to move Mendez to second.  Both runners moved up a base on a wild pitch.  Haley Dusek grounded out second to first to score Mendez and to move Ostrander to third.  Courtney Schwan singled off the shortstop to score Ostrander.

Central Kitsap used a walk, a wild pitch, a sacrifice, and a wild pitch to get a run in the fifth.

Rachel Barcena singled to center to open the fifth.  Rachel Sorensen walked to move Barcena to second.  Becca Sorensen pinch hit.  Both runners moved up a base on a wild pitch.  Becca Sorensen walked to load the bases.  Alexis Mendez hit a sacrifice fly to right to score Barcena.  When the right fielder dropped the ball, the bases were again loaded.  Kelly McLaughlin singled to left to score Rachel Sorensen.  On an 0-2 pitch Alexa Ostrander ripped a triple to right center to score Becca Sorensen, Mendez, and McLaughlin.  Haley Dusek crushed the very next pitch to the fence in right center for a home run scoring Ostrander before her.

Good defensive plays were made by Rachel Barcena who knocked a shot to third down and threw the batter out for the first out in the 1st; by Alexa Ostrander who went to her left to field a grounder and threw the batter out for the second out in the 1st; by Alex DeStephano who dug out a low throw to first for the final out in the 3rd; by Courtney Schwan who deflected a drive up the middle which Haley Dusek then pounced on and threw the batter out for the first out in the 4th; and by Alex DeStephano who charged a bunt and made a perfect throw to Haley Dusek covering first for the second out in the 5th.

Courtney Schwan started and again went the distance for the win.  She gave up only two hits and one earned run.  She retired 13 of the final 15 batters.  She also helped herself defensively by getting three assists in the fourth inning.
