Kelly McLaughlin singled to right to open the game. Sarah Sorensen walked moving McLaughlin to second. After an out Courtney Schwan drove the first pitch to dead center for a triple scoring McLaughlin and Sorensen. Alex DeStephano singled to center to score Schwan.

Celine Woo walked to open the second. When the shortstop couldn’t handle Kelly McLaughlin’s pop up, Woo wound up at second and McLaughlin was safe at first. Sarah Sorensen singled to center to score Woo and to move McLaughlin to second. Haley Dusek lined a single to center to score McLaughlin and to move Sorensen to third. Courtney Schwan singled to left to score Sorensen and to move Dusek to second. Both runners moved up on a wild pitch. Alex DeStephano grounded out second to first to score Dusek and to move Schwan to third. Rachel Barcena grounded out third to first to score Schwan. Alexa Ostrander doubled to right center. Rachel Sorensen singled to center to score Ostrander.

A good defensive play was made by Rachel Barcena who pounced on a bunt and threw the batter out at first for the second out in the 1st.
